New Game Support

Postby Tom Kent » Tue Jul 30, 2013 3:40 pm

Would you guys like to see a new game supported at club?

Would include things like Starter sets, building/painting evenings & small leagues.

Please vote below for what you'd like to see in the new year.

(Deadzone is coming for skirmish level games in the new year)
Things I Play
Bolt Action, DUST, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Necromunda, Mordheim, Malifaux, Dreadball, Cutlass!, Pirates(Of The Spanish Main), Warmachine/Hordes, Dystopian Wars, Magic: TG & board games galore

I voted Warmachine and Dystopian Wars. I have been eyeing up the Bushido miniatures for a while now and will probably pick up a starter sooner or later.

On a side note, sorry I haven't been at the club in a while as I have had different things going on but I should be back after the two week break.

i have voted warmachine and dust tactics as both have really nice models i have wanted to get some of for a while but how much i would be able to put into a new system after Christmas i don't know as i will have my deadzone by then and malifaux 2nd ed will be out on top of anything else that seams to be shiney and catches my eye
40k: guard/marines/chaos/tau
Deadzone: enforcers and rebs
Fantasy: skaven
Dystopian wars: antartica
Malifaux: reserectionist

Saga is supposedly good..... Frankly it should be within our wit to write our own rules :| .... No Cutlass Tom?

No Gav, keeping strictly skirmish games separate for skirmish night. Skirmish wise we already play dreadball, malifaux, we have played necromunda and we'll shortly be playing Deadzone. for larger scale games, it's only really ever been 40k.

I was going to choose the last option as I'm indifferent to new games at the moment (I have enough to do really!), but didn't want it to count as a vote against the club doing anything new: I'm happy with whatever people want, I just probably won't be involved...

Warmachine starts off at a skirmish level then grows. Starter boxes are about 11 points, and include some big things. Standard games are about 35 points and include squads of smaller men.

Saga is also a Skirmish game. How may I save you pounds?
